Terms of Service

1. Project Commencement & Payments

All projects require a 50% deposit before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the build phase, prior to the website being made live on your domain. For projects under £300, full payment may be required upfront.

2. Revisions & Scope

We include **one round of revisions** in our standard packages. This covers minor copy edits and layout adjustments. Significant changes to the project scope after the design has been approved may incur additional fees at our standard hourly rate of £25.

3. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the website's frontend code is transferred to the Client. We reserve the right to showcase the completed project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Hosting & Maintenance

Our hosting service is billed at £5/month. While we maintain a fast global CDN and perform regular backups, Koku Studio is not liable for any loss of business due to temporary server downtime. Hosting can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing all necessary text and high-resolution imagery for the project. Delays in providing content will result in delays to the project timeline. You are responsible for ensuring all content provided is legally owned by you.

6. Liability

Koku Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, arising from the use of the website or services provided. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific project.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
